Launch of PayCheck
PayCheck was founded in a small office in Battersea, London. Our vision was simple: to provide reliable and professional payroll services to businesses that wanted a trusted partner to manage payroll accurately and compliantly.
BACS Approved Bureau
PayCheck became a BACS Approved Bureau, enabling secure and efficient salary payments for clients.
Expanding Our Portfolio
PayCheck expanded its client base by acquiring several payroll portfolios from accounting firms.
Key milestones included:
- Acquisition of Payzone
- Acquisition of RM Services
This period marked the start of PayCheck becoming a recognised payroll outsourcing specialist.
Achieving ISO Accreditation
PayCheck achieved internationally recognised certifications:

Real Time Information (RTI) Pilot
PayCheck participated in the HMRC Real Time Information (RTI) pilot, helping shape the future of payroll reporting in the UK and ensuring clients remained compliant with evolving HMRC requirements.
Auto Enrolment Services Launch
With the introduction of workplace pension legislation, PayCheck launched Auto Enrolment services in partnership with Chase de Vere, supporting employers with pension compliance and employee enrolment.
Moving to the Cloud
PayCheck migrated to cloud-based payroll software, enabling improved efficiency, security and scalability for clients and payroll processing.
Celebrating 25 Years
PayCheck celebrated 25 years of supporting UK businesses with trusted payroll services, marking a major milestone in the company’s journey.
