Sophie and Victoria have worked together since 1989. Pay Check was established in 1996, having identified an opportunity in the market to start our own payroll bureau.
Our offices are based in Battersea, and our clients are situated throughout the UK from Glasgow to Southampton. Pay Check works with clients from diverse business sectors ranging from travel companies to City based institutions such as fund managers and stockbroking firms. Our clients include Tate Gallery Restaurants, Neals Yard Remedies, Heal's, The Groucho Club, FCM Travel, Iris Nation and Evolution Services.
The size of client varies from 1 to 700 employees on a monthly payroll, and up to 950 employees on a weekly payroll. The majority of our new business comes as a result of recommendations and referrals which we believe is a testament to the high level of service we provide to all our clients, regardless of their size.
Pay Check is a licensed commercial BACS bureau, an Investors in People company and has reached the required standards for ISO 9001 and ISO 27001. We have engaged the services of Sunguard, the market leaders in providing full business continuity and disaster recovery services.
In 2003 Pay Check merged with Interpro (http://www.interprobps.com/). Interpro is an American company primarily focused in outsourced business services. Interpro has offices in the US, Australia, India, China and the Philippines.
In October 2006 we purchased Inland Revenue approved web-enabled payroll software and its current users. We have re-branded the software as Talent Pay. Pay Check can offer a fully managed payroll service and an Inland Revenue approved web hosted payroll solution for clients who require on-line access to their data.
